NOTES
Regular clock speeds for this AMD Athlon II X2 240e (AD240EHDK23GQ /
AD240EHDGQBOX) are 2.80GHz (14x200MHz) for both cores and 2.00GHz (10x200MHz)
for HyperTransport and memory controllers. Regor core, 45nm manufacturing
process, C2 stepping. The clock speeds have been raised to 3.50GHz (14x250MHz)
and 2.50GHz (10x250MHz) respectively with no voltages increased (default core
voltage is 1.300V). A regular boxed cooler by Delta has been installed
(aluminium star shaped radiator).
There are two 1Gb memory modules by Silicon Power with Nanya (Elixir) chips
installed. They're labelled as M2Y1G64CB88A5N-CG with 9-9-9-24 timings at
1333MHz effective accordingly to their SPD. The actual timings have been
reduced successfully in the BIOS. The memory controller has been set up for
unganged mode (i.e. two 64-bit concurrent memory channels) rather than ganged
mode (i.e. one 128-bit memory channel).
The on-board video hardware (Radeon HD2100) has been disabled in the BIOS
while running the benchmarks, and a discrete PCI Express 16x video card
(Sapphire Radeon HD3850 with 512Mb GDDR3 SDRAM) has been installed.
The overclocked hardware has passed reliability testing prior to benchmarking.
