NOTES
Regular clock speed for this Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 (SLALT) is 2.60GHz
(13x200MHz). Conroe core with one half of the L2 cache disabled (2Mb
available), 65nm manufacturing process, G0 stepping, CPUID 0x06FB. It has
been overclocked quickly to 3.13GHz without any voltage increase from the
default 1.31V. The boxed cooler was a real waste, so an Ultra X-Wind ULT33131
has been installed instead (massive 129mm x 129mm x 55mm copper radiator,
120mm dual ball PWM capable fan up to 2200rpm).
There are two 2Gb memory modules by Unifosa installed. They're labelled as
GU342G0AJEPR692C4CE with 5-5-5-15 timings at 666MHz effective accordingly to
their SPD. They have been overclocked to 800MHz effective while keeping the
timings unchanged with no voltage increased. The memory chips are Elpida
E1108ACBG-6E-E.
The P43 north bridge is quite a hot thing even when operating without
overclocking (system bus at <1333MHz), so it benefits definitely from air flow
generated by the processor's cooler.
The overclocked hardware has passed reliability testing prior to
benchmarking.
